The MEDINA REPORT has been something I’ve been wanting to create for some time. This blog will be dedicated to covering the growth and development of the cities in Northwest Hennepin County including Medina, Plymouth, Corcoran and Maple Grove.
Real estate, development, and local business will be the focus of this site.
I am a real estate agent with Edina Realty and I work out of the Wayzata office. I live in Medina and have paid close attention to all that’s going on out here.
Several of the local cities have had moratoriums on development for the past several months. In part that was due to the need to get their arms around the rapid development up to this point but also to take time to understand what the requirements and expectation were going to be from the Met Council.
Every city is currently reviewing all of their development plans in order to revise and/or update their comprehensive plans.
