The Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors is out with their latest monthly updates for its “100″ report. The latest data is through June which allows us to look at sales activity for the first half of 2009 vs. the same period for 2008.
Here are the key data points:
- Closed Sales are up 4% (it amounts to one more closing in 2009 vs. 2008 – 26 vs. 25)
- Median prices are down 11%
- Average prices are down 15.7%
- Days on market – 222 days
- Percent of original list price received at sale: 88.4%
- New listing activity – down 3%
