Twin Cities Met Council GIS – Make a Map Software

This is a fabulous GIS system that is found on the Twin Cities Met Council site.    You can zoom in to any area and also layer it with various kinds of geographical data points that is particularly helpful if you’re trying to figure out development potential.

Foxberry Farms Home Sales Data – 2004 through 2009

Below is a graphical display of closed homes sales data based upon total finished square feet.    I have broken out the difference between homes with finished basement and those that didn’t have finished basements.

There continues to be a consistent decline in prices since 2006.   In fact, the average sales price in 2009 for Foxberry Farms is now $604,000.  (November 25, 2009 – new post to reflect a new data point.  Average sales price in 2009 is  now $590,000.  Here’s the direct link to the new graphical display of the Average Sales Price in Foxberry Farms.

Medina Highlands Luxury Townhomes 2009 Sales – Charles Cudd Development

Medina Highlands is one of the premier townhome developments in the Twin Cities western suburbs.  The development consists of 68 units is located near Highway 55 and County Road 101 on the eastern edge of Medina next to the Elm Creek Golf Course in Plymouth, MN.

There are currently 6 Medina Highlands luxury townhomes for sale ranging in price from $435,500 to $589,000.   So far 2 Medina Highlands townhomes have sold in 2009.  One sold for $429,900 and the other sold for $497,500.   The former was  a bank owned property.
