The Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors just published the Twin Cities home sales data for February and its more sluggish news for homeowners. Jim Buchta from the Star Tribune has a good summary of the stats in his article here.
- Median Home Price: $142,500 which was up from the $140,000 print in January, 2011
- Closed sales fell 1.7% this February compared to last year
- Closed sales were up 3.9% in February compared to January this year
- Overall new listings are declining but foreclosures are up
It’s finally supposed to start getting nicer here in Minnesota with the weather – 50 degrees possibly tomorrow. Perhaps that will bring some buyers out?
