Perhaps the biggest public policy decision affecting the city of St. Louis Park, MN is about to be made concerning the rerouting of the freight-rail line that runs through the city. This decision will affect many homeowners. I suspect it’s played a pretty big role in many real estate decisions this year as well. This decision is being made in order to make way for the new Southwest LRT line that will run from Eden Prairie to downtown Minneapolis.
Finance & Commerce has the details on this story. Watch for a decision next week.
