This is an annual favorite for kids and adults alike. Come to downtown Loretto for a unique Christmas experience as the Canadian Pacific Railroad brings its Holiday Train through town! Here are the details from the town of Loretto.
From the town of Loretto’s web site: “The scheduled stop for the Holiday Train in 2011 is set for Tuesday, December 13th at 4:15 p.m. There will be a horse and wagon ride, kiddie train rides, Santa and his helper will be there. Activities begin at 3 p.m. on West Railway Street. The fire department will be manning three mini-bonfires. A shuttle will run from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. from the ballfield parking lot, Sts. Peter & Paul church parking lot to West Railway Street. Please bring food items to donate to the Hanover Food Shelf. Cash donations and checks are also accepted payable to the Hanover Food Shelf. Five percent of the monetary donations will go to each of the surrounding food shelves – Rockford, Delano, and Maple Plain and distributed by the Hanover Food Shelf. Refreshments will be provided by Loram, Maintenance of Way and Doboszenski and Son’s will provide a semi to load the food.”
